"Encountering the Heavens", the inaugural exhibition in the carriage house gallery at the Huntington Library, utilizied existing and custom cases, graphics, media elements and rare documents and objects.

The narrative illustrates understanding of our place in the cosmos from the 4th century to present time in maps, illustrated texts and scientific journals. JPL and CA Institute of Technology provided access to rare images and film footage of deep space eploration.
